Marcy came to rescue when a backyard breeder found out her leg needed to be amputated and he wouldn't be able to make any money off her. See the breeder took her to the vet because she wasn't using her leg and he needed her healthy so he could sell her.
Well it turns out she had an abscess on her leg that wasn't treated as soon as it should have been so the infection went into the bone. Once the infection was in the bone there was nothing to do but amputate. The breeder didn't want to spend the money so he surrendered her over to the vet.
Well, Marcy had her surgery and has no idea she's missing a leg. She still runs around and plays just like a "normal" dog. And boy! does she play.
Marcy will need a family with at least one other young dog that LOVES to play. And play. And play. And play!
Marcy is full of all the puppy energy and shenanigans. Her family will need patient with her to help her learn manners and continue her training so she can be the BEST dog ever!
