NaNa found herself with her sister, GiGi, at the shelter after her human mom passed away. Their mom's husband tried to give them away to another rescue in the area, but the rescue was full and asked the man if he could hold onto the girls for a couple of weeks while they made space. He said he could not. Later that day they were both picked up as strays and taken to the shelter.
The shelter put out a plea for help. NaNa, had a seizure in the AC truck on the way to the shelter and they knew she may need medical help. (Thankfully it seems she was just overheated and has not had another seizure since.) From the Heart couldn't pull one without the other, so we set about to finding a little more room. 2 of our wonderful foster homes made just enough space to welcome these senior ladies.
Nana LOVES to cuddle. So far, she hasn't met a stranger-human or dog. She is very easy going and would be happy sitting with you watching TV or supervising your gardening skills.
