Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help From the Heart Rescue cover vaccinations, spay/neuter, medical testing and medical treatment costs for the dogs.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help From the Heart Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, From the Heart Rescue dogs will at a minimum, have the following

Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
Bordetella (as needed)
Age Appropriate Vaccines
Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test, or treatment if dog tested positive
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
Microchipped and registration
ID tag

Adoption Fees:

$100 - All Dogs, although fees for senior and special needs dogs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Our mission is to serve the underserved -- the abandoned, orphaned, abused, injured and special needs dogs which have nowhere else to turn and to provide the love and care they never had until a forever home is found.

Founded in January 2004, From the Heart Rescue (FTH) is dedicated to caring for the hurt and frightened animal victims of accident, disease, cruelty and neglect, as well as senior and disabled animals, by providing the life-saving surgeries, medications and special care they need which other organizations are unable or unwilling to give.
