Audra and her brother found themselves at the shelter, picked up as strays. The shelter is a very scary place. There's lots of noise, strange smells, and busy people. Both dogs seemed very timid in their kennel when interacting with the staff. They needed some place they could decompress and be allowed to out of their shells.
While we did not have an open foster home, we felt we could help these pups. We partnered with one of our wonderful rescue friends and we have these pups in boarding. We have seen in the past where a pup at boarding blossoms quickly. They will be able to interact with all kinds of dogs and lots of different people. We felt it might take some time for them to come around.
Well, our director went to meet them today and they are not scared at all. They ran right up to her and were fun and outgoing just like young pups should be.
They are young, maybe 9-10 months old. They just need to spay and neutered and they will be looking for their next adventure!
