Bailey found herself picked up as a stray after being attacked by other dogs. She was covered in bite wounds. The shelter called and ask if we could help. The shelter vet felt some of the wounds looked serious and may need stitches.
We found a foster home and got Bailey to the vet. Once she was cleaned up, you could see all the wounds. Luckily, none of them went deep enough to cause serious injury and she did go home with a lot of stitches and a big bandage.
Right now Bailey is relaxing and recovering. We have discovered Bailey loves getting attention and playing ball. She would do best in a home with dogs her size, as bigger dogs tend to run her over and after her experience we want her to be comfortable. Once her vetting is complete she will be up for adoption.
