Hi - my name is Cuba - and I'm a dog fostered in El Paso - TX!
I came to rescue after I wound up at animal control with a broken leg. The city animal services doesn't have the ability to treat wounds such as mine so they began calling local rescues to see if my life could be saved. Fortunately - a nice foster home with From The Heart said 'yes!' to fostering me so off to rescue I went!
I had surgery on my leg and was in a foster home during my recovery. My foster family made sure I was well taken care of and that I was comfortable while I recovered.
I have recovered beautifully and you'd never know that I had ever been injured! I'm a very playful guy and I do GREAT with kids!!! I love them!! I also get along with other dogs. I have a lot of energy and I need a family that will give me opportunities to exercise. I would be a great hiking - running - and walking partner.
