Doc

Hi! My Name Is Doc

We're happy to tell you that Doc has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

I came to rescue after I was found as a stray and was taken to animal services. A nice volunteer family with From The Heart offered to take me in to foster care so that I could go off to rescue. You see, animal services is no place for any dog, let alone a senior fellow like me! It's stressful and scary.

I'm adjusting to my foster home well! I'm a little shy, but I'm learning that not all people are mean. I allow my foster parents to pick me up and carry me around, but I really prefer to walk on my own. I'm very independent! I don't really like sitting on the couch all that much. I much prefer a nice bed or blanket on the floor where I can observe the world around me. My foster mom says that I do well in the car too.

I am doing well with my house-training, but sometimes will have an accident inside. My foster mom says that I will whine when I need to go out. I would really like a patient person with a calm household to adopt me! I am very sweet, and would love someone to love me.

Think we could be a match? Fill out an adoption application and a volunteer will be in touch with you about meeting me!
