Betty White

Hi! My Name Is Betty White

Betty White was found roaming the streets all alone. She was taken to the shelter and no one came looking for her. We know she had a home at some point because you don't make it to 12 years old fending for yourself on the streets. One of our great foster homes made some space for her, since the shelter is no place for a senior gal to hang out.

Being a senior girl, Betty White, does have some senior issues. She has cataracts so she she can't see that well, especially in low light. When she was found it was discovered she has no teeth. Because of this her lower jaw is a little floppy and she'll need to eat soft/canned food. And as happens to many us as we get older her hearing has started to go. But other than that her vet exam and blood work show she is in good health.

We have learned she is a cuddle bug. She is potty trained. But may have an accident in a new environment until she finds her way around. She also seems to enjoy the company of other small dogs.

We are going to give Betty White a little bit of time to decompress from shelter life and she will soon be looking for her furever home.
