Nein found herself at Animal Services as a stray. She had demodex mange all over her body. Demodex is not contagious. It is a mite that lives on the dogs skin naturally and usually causes no problems. But it's very common in puppies because their immune systems are not very strong yet and a dip in the immune system is all those little mites need to cause a big problem. Luckily it's pretty easy to treat. The hardest part is waiting for the fur to grow back.
One of our rescue partners saw her sweet face and knew Nein wouldn't recover under the stress at the shelter. So she decided to foster Nein and reached out to find her a rescue.
Nein has grown all of her fur back and boy is it soft! She is enjoying house dog life and LOVES to play. She is tying her very best to learn puppy manners and will need a family that will continue working with her. She weighs 42 pounds and is crate-trained.
Nein is very friendly and playful. She is very smart and is eager to please! She is looking for a family to love her forever! Fill out an adoption application to meet her!
