I came to rescue after animal control picked me up as a stray. I went to animal services but no owners ever came for me. A shelter is no place for a nice senior puppies like me - so From The Heart was called to see if they could help. A wonderful foster home offered to take me in so that I could receive the care I need.
My tongue hangs out so we were worried my jaw might be broken. From The Heart had x-rays taken at the vet just to be sure. Luckily - my jaw is just fine! I had two teeth in my head and both were completely rotten so I had a dental and the teeth were removed. I'm feeling much better now!
I will need to eat soft food for the rest of my life since I don't have any teeth. My tongue still likes to hang out - but it's part of my adorable charm. I'm a very good boy! I'm a snuggler and I'm a happy - friendly little soul. I have a lot of love to give!
