Sherman came to rescue when a good Samaritan found him wandering without a human. They had him scanned for a chip, filed a found dog report at Animal Services and posted his picture everywhere. But Sherman's human never came for him. So the good Samaritan contacted From the Heart to see if we could help out. As you know, we are foster based and can only take in a new dog if we have a home for the dog to live in. So, the good Samaritan volunteered to become a foster home!
Sherman is a little nervous of strangers at first but quickly warms up. He will need a home with a tall fence. He is very smart and wants to explore the other side of the wall.
Sherman loves to play fetch. Real fetch, the kind where he brings the ball to go again. Not the kind where he leaves the ball on the other side of the yard for you to go fetch.
