Smokey came to rescue after his medical bills became too much for his owners to pay. At 6 months old he had been having diarrhea his whole life. Our vet did exploratory surgery and discovered Smokey had a portion of his intestines that weren't working properly. She removed about 6 inches of his intestines and we kept our fingers crossed to see if this would be what fixed his tummy trouble.
So far he's doing great. He finally has the energy to be a regular puppy.
