How Your Donation Helps Our Pets

Every dollar you donate to From The Heart helps ensure we can provide the necessary care for any dog in need of the help no one else will give and offer them a second chance at a loving home. We are a 501(c) (3) organization so all monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent that IRS allows.

As an all-volunteer organization, for every dollar donated, 100% go towards the cost of care for the dogs we have in foster homes. From the basics like vaccinations and medications, to specialty surgery for broken legs, gun shot wounds, or other serious injuries. Our modest administration fees and fundraising efforts are paid through adoption fees.

From The Heart Rescue is a community of supporters and volunteers passionate about making a difference to the lives of dogs in need, erasing the scars of their past lives, and giving them a second chance at love. The dogs come to us generally as strays and from shelters, or as senior dogs that have found themselves homeless due to death or incapacity of their owners.

Whatever reason brings the dog to From the Heart Rescue, we treat them with the dignity and love which has been lacking in their lives.

Our mission is to serve the underserved -- the abandoned, orphaned, abused, injured and special needs dogs which have nowhere else to turn and to provide the love and care they never had until a forever home is found.

Founded in January 2004, From the Heart Rescue (FTH) is dedicated to caring for the hurt and frightened animal victims of accident, disease, cruelty and neglect, as well as senior and disabled animals, by providing the life-saving surgeries, medications and special care they need which other organizations are unable or unwilling to give.
