We are comprised exclusively of volunteers – we have no paid staff. Volunteers are the lifeline of our rescue organization and we LOVE our VOLUNTEERS! We can't wait to introduce you to our organization and the team that makes it all happen.

Working to locate businesses throughout the county for placement of donation boxes. Routine maintenance and collection of donated funds.
Teaching humane treatment of animals in the schools, day care centers and church groups. Taking animals to nursing homes, child abuse shelters, hospitals and other such facilities.

Representing From The Heart Rescue in the community at various functions, distributing brochures and other appropriate materials.

We participate in several Meet & Greet and other events in the community. Join us! Help people select the right new pet!
Processing applications and visiting potential adopters in their homes to assess the suitability of the home for the animal they have applied to adopt.
Transporting dogs to local veterinarians or assisting in transfers to the other From The Heart Rescue centers.
No matter what your talents, we can probably find a place for you in our organization! All you need is a love of animals, a desire to help find the best possible homes for those special animals in our care and some time to dedicate to a valuable service. No experience is necessary!
